New Palma Conference Dates Approved!
May 12, 2010
Due to the closure of much of European airspace in April 2010 the WUWM Conference to be held in Palma de Mallorca, Spain had to be postponed. The new dates for this conference have now been approved as 14-17 September 2010. Please read the following conditions relating to participation in this event. New conference registration and hotel booking forms will be sent to delegates in the coming days. Registration fees: - Any registration fees already paid by delegates will remain valid for participation in the postponed conference in September. A new registration form will shortly be distributed to all members in order to reconfirm participation. On our receipt of this new registration form, any registration fees already paid to Mercasa for April will be credited towards the September event. - Any persons not already registered (or paid) for Palma will be able to register to attend the postponed conference in September, paying the same (late) fee as was determined for the Palma Conference already in April. Fee information is available on the conference website: www.mercasapalma-wuwmconference.com - Registration fees already paid for delegates and partners unable to attend the postponed conference in September can be credited towards substitute persons. Any members completely cancelling their registration (where substitutions are not possible) are asked to contact the WUWM Secretariat for help in this matter directly (firstname.lastname@example.org). Hotel bookings (made via the WUWM/Conference Organiser): - There will be no cancellation fees applied to the hotel reservations made for April when members re-book their reservations for the September event. Changes to the length of stay (e.g. reduced/extended number of nights, etc) will be no problem, and without penalty; - Delegates will be asked in the coming weeks to fill in a new hotel form detailing their September requirements so that their new arrival/departure dates and hotel choice, etc are clearly detailed; - All three conference hotel options/prices will remain the same (i.e. there will be no room fee increases); - Transfer of April room reservations from one conference hotel to another of the conference hotels (e.g. Tryp Belver to Melia Palas) is possible. Please contact the WUWM Secretariat at email@example.com should you have any queries. The new forms for hotel and registration will be distributed to WUWM members and conference delegates in the coming days.
