German Markets Partner With EnzaFruit
May 26, 2010
During Fruit Logistica 2010, the Association of German Wholesale Markets (GFI) and Enzafruit New Zealand concluded a marketing partnership agreement to organize national promotions with wholesale markets and independent retailers. In total, GFI will organise 38 promotions for Enza in 11 German cities. The Enzafruit team will tour street markets and retail market halls from 10 May to 3 July to present a new variety of New Zealand apple named Jazz. Customers will be invited to sample the apples and learn more about the variety, with traders offering shoppers a free Jazz apple cutter for every kilo of NZ apples sold. During the promotion there will be events held on 11 wholesale markets in the cities of Munich, Stuttgart, Mannheim, Essen, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Duisburg, Hannover, Bremen, Hamburg and Berlin – where early-morning information and sampling will be offered by wholesalers trading Jazz apples. Further information is available from the GFI website on the link below.
