Beijing Host of the 6th Asia-Pacific Wholesale Markets Conference

The 6th Asia-Pacific Wholesale Markets Conference (APWC), organized by the WUWM Asia-Pacific Regional Working Group (WUWM-APRG) and the China Agricultural Wholesale Markets Association (CAWA) is to be held 29-31 January 2015 in Beijing.
An influential event within the wholesale market industry in the Asia-Pacific region, APWC continues to strengthen exchange and cooperation between Asia-Pacific wholesale markets, having established a brand-new platform for the import and export of produce and food. Previous conferences have seen participation from all areas of the food sector including government officials in charge of produce and food trade, principals from agro-related organizations, academic experts, wholesale market managers, importers and exporters, as well as logistics, cold-chain, and storage service providers.
This year the theme of the event is: The Future of Asia-Pacific Wholesale Markets, with two main discussion forums operating: Opportunities & Challenges, Modes & Innovation. This will review four main themes related to: e-commerce, intelligent agricultural product markets, supply chain logistics, and agro-product distribution & 3rd party service providers.
