The first WUWM conference this year will be held in Lublin, Poland and will take place from 18-20 May 2016. Registration is open at www.wuwmconference.org
This conference is being hosted by the Lublin Wholesale Market JSC in Elizówka, in collaboration with the Union of Polish Wholesale Markets.
The Conference will be held under the theme "Fresh Markets: Permanent Evolution In Times of Change” and will be an excellent platform for WUWM Members and other participants to discuss the current situation, challenges and advancements relating to wholesale and retail markets.
This WUWM event will offer plenary discussions covering four main topics: features and direction of wholesale markets in Eastern Europe; countering fake food on the market; modern green technologies in the wholesale and retail market; and introducing flowers into the market - benefits and practices. Session themes and speaker details are available on the conference website and in this newsletter.
Technical tours will be made to the wholesale market of Lublin, as well as to JMP Flowers, a leader producer in the quality flowers. The winner of the 2015 WUWM Market Wards will also be announced during the Closing Dinner.
