In Tribute to Mr S.S. Randhawa
August 25, 2017
It is with sadness and regret that we note the passing of Mr S.S. Randhawa, the Managing Director, National Council of State Marketing Boards of India, New Delhi.
Mr Randhawa passed away the evening of 17 August, due to a cardiac arrest. The WUWM Board, Secretariat and Membership offer his family and friends our sincere condolences for this great loss.
Mr Randhawa had many friends and colleagues, not only in India but also throughout the world, who remember him fondly and will miss him greatly. He was a dynamic and positive force within the market sector, and can be credited for much excellent work undertaken the past years in India.
Mr Randhawa became member of WUWM in 2012 and since then has been attending almost all conferences. He contributed by making 8 WUWM member markets from India. He always remained very active in discussions in and outside conferences. He was the recipient of many national awards in India. WUWM has lost a well-wisher and active member. Dr JS Yadav on behalf of WUWM personally met family members and expressed deep condolences.
May he rest in peace.
