The 31st WUWM Congress held Down Under!
November 14, 2017
The 31st WUWM Congress took place in the beautiful cities of Melbourne and Sydney in Australia. Over 173 international and local delegates from 24 countries gathered to discuss the impact technology will have on the Market’s role in the supply chain and the customer experience under the banner of market modernization.
A rich selection of both Australian and international experts presented during the Congress. This was a unique platform to discuss, share experiences and present findings on different market issues.
The delegates also had the opportunity to visit the Melbourne Market site in Epping, the Queen Victoria Market as well as Sydney Markets. These insightful technical visits of wholesale and retail markets which have relocated to new premises, undergoing major transformational renewal works was a unique learning opportunity for our delegates.
Once again we would like to thank the hosts for the high level of professionalism and superb hospitality shown during this successful gathering.
