WUWM Conference In Barcelona Open for Registration

The website of the WUWM Conference to be held in the city of Barcelona, Spain from 16-18 April is now open for registration. This conference is being hosted by the Mercabarna Wholesale Market.
The event has been planned to overlap with the international biannual “ALIMENTARIA” and “HOSTELCO” Trade Fairs, which will take place in Barcelona from April 16-19, 2018. ALIMENTARIA is one of the most important food trade shows in the world, with 140,000 visitors, and HOSTELCO is one of the biggest appointments in the restaurant & catering sector, with 42,000 visitors.
The overall theme of the conference is: Responsible and Efficient Markets, issues regarding the role markets play as backbones of their respective societies and best solutions in the areas of waste management, energy efficiency, mobility and digitalization will be discussed.
The early-bird deadline will end on 15 January 2018.
Technical markets visits will be made to the Wholesale Market of Mercabarna and to a retail market in Barcelona and to the Alimemtaria Trade Fair.
Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy the closing dinner at Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, known as "El Liceu", the oldest and most prestigious active theater in Barcelona, especially as an opera theatre.
