WUWM Conference was held in Gurugram, India

Wholesale market professionals from 18 countries have met in Gurugram, a satellite city of Delhi located in the Indian state of Haryana, during the WUWM Conference to discuss issues on “the Wholesale Markets in the Digital Era: Challenges and Opportunities.”
The Conference was hosted by Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board in collaboration with National Council of State Agricultural Marketing Boards (COSAMB). Conference attendees included wholesale market managers, government officials, as well as agricultural producers and distributors from India.
Delegates had the opportunity to visit two markets: Azadpur market which is one of the biggest fruit & vegetable markets in Asia and e-NAM Market , Sonepat. Also a visit was paid to C.C.S National Institute of Agricultural Marketing campus in Jaipur.
Two Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) were signed during the event between CAWA, China and Rungis, France and between Krishi Udyami Krishak Vikas Chamber, India and SIMAB, Portugal.
