WUWM 2019 Elections – Call for Director Nominations
March 21, 2019
WUWM Board election information regarding the submission of candidatures for the 2019 elections has been sent couple of weeks ago to each member.
Any candidate nominations for the open positions should be received by the WUWM Executive Secretary by post or e-mail by close of day Friday, 5th April 2019. An official nomination form has been sent for this purpose, along with information detailing Board member obligations.
A second election mailing will be sent to members after 5th April, 2019. That letter will inform you of the names of candidates nominated in these elections, and will also include a proxy voting form for those members not able to attend but who may wish to vote by proxy via another participating member.
These 2019 elections will be held during the Membership Meeting which is to be convened on Friday, 17th May 2019 during the official WUWM Conference programme in Belgrade, Serbia. www.wuwmconference.org
Please note that in order to be able to stand as a Director candidate, the person must have officially represented (for at least 1 year) a ‘full member’ market or market association that is in ‘good standing’ with the Union, with no current, or prior, member fees pending.
