Dipl.-Kfm. Frank Willhausen graduated in Economics and Business Administration at the University of Hamburg specializing in industrial management, marketing and occupational psychology.
After graduation he worked for four years as an academic research associate at the Institute for Trade and Marketing at Hamburg University. His teaching duties included courses on marketing management, international marketing and the management of costs and revenues; he also conducted research work in the field of “controlling business relationships.”
Then he established himself as a self‐employed marketing and management consultant. He focuses on matters of strategy and on the design and implementation of communication and marketing measures. He has many years’ experience in the international sphere and advises clients in matters concerning wholesale markets, the wholesale and retail trade, logistics, IT, media, professional associations, marketing groups, the internet, training and further education.
For the past 20 years Mr. Willhausen has made a key contribution to redefining the marketing strategy of Germany’s wholesale markets. He is a member and advisor of the World Union of Wholesale Markets (WUWM), the development society GFI German Fresh Food Markets and the wholesale markets in Hamburg, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, Bremen and Dortmund.
He gives lectures and training sessions in management and marketing at universities, universities of applied sciences, business academies and at private business schools or other institutes of education.
