WUWM Community Dear WUWM Members,
We are pleased to announce that WUWM has officially signed a Letter of Intent with the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact (MUFPP), the world’s leading network of cities committed to developing sustainable urban food systems.
This partnership recognizes wholesale markets as key infrastructures for food security, urban resilience, and sustainable local food policies. Together, WUWM and MUFPP will promote knowledge exchange, capacity building, best practices, and stronger cooperation between cities, wholesale markets, and food system stakeholders worldwide.
The MUFPP currently brings together more than 340 cities across the globe, offering an important opportunity to further strengthen the role of wholesale markets within urban food policies and sustainable food systems.
We look forward to developing concrete initiatives under this collaboration and will keep you informed of future opportunities for engagement.
Strengthening cities, markets and food systems together.
