Laurent Nys Appointed as New Chair of WUWM European Group

[Brussels, 12 june 2025] – The World Union of Wholesale Markets (WUWM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Laurent Nys, CEO of Mabru (Brussels Wholesale Markets), as the new Chair of the WUWM European Group.

Mr. Nys brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this role. Under his leadership, the WUWM European Group, composed of more than 90 members, making it the most active within the WUWM, will particularly focus on strengthening its engagement with the European Commission, leveraging Mr. Nys’s established relationships and strategic positioning.

The WUWM extends its sincere gratitude to Dr. Fabio Massimo Pallottini for his invaluable and dedicated work as the outgoing Chair of the European Group. His commitment and efforts have significantly contributed to the group’s strong development and achievements.
