On 21 October 2022, we have held a very successful WUWM Global Conference in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirated. The event was titled “Global food security in the XXIs: Risks, challenges and solutions to ensure resilient and sustainable fresh food supply chains”. It gathered a total of over 850 participants, 72 countries, from wholesale and retail markets representatives, logisticians, start-ups, academia, governments officials, international organizations, NGOs, the private sector and more.
We would hereby like to thank our members and the participants of the conference for all of their great effort and their contribution in making this event so fruitful. Our team has created a report of the conference with summaries, images and conclusions of the event in Abu Dhabi which will give those who missed it the opportunity to read through the main outtakes of it and those who attended it the chance to go through the most important aspects of it again.
